14 Days Birding Safari Uganda the wild Beauty

Our tour guide now receives you and drives you to your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala where rest from as you as get ready for tomorrow. After that great breakfast in the morning at your hotel, we brief about the starting safari and at 07:00am we begin driving you the great park of birds – Semuliki National park. On your way you will make a stopover at the Equator and here you will take pictures and you will proceed to Semuliki National Park driving through Fort Portal town. Arrive in the afternoon and check into your lodge and rest after a long drive to the park. This park will show you a vast spread of great bird species.

From the great night’s rest, take breakfast early enough and we take you to the birding zones in Semuliki National park. Today you will move with all everything you need to eat to keep you going and you will not come back for lunch. This birding safari will bring you to see the great wonders of birding like the African pied horn bills, Pearl spotted Owlet, Night jars, Green tailed bristle bill, Rufous sided broad bill, forest scrub robin and a vast spread of bird species in this park because this park is a home of birds. At 05:30pm, you will return to your lodge for dinner and resting.

From the great night’s rest, take breakfast early enough and we take you to the birding zones in Semuliki National park. We do as we did yesterday and today we take a different trail, it could be the on the main road Sempaya trail or the Kirumira trail. At 05:30pm, you will return to your lodge for dinner and resting.

From the great night’s rest, take breakfast early enough and this very morning we drive you to Kibale National park- Sebitoli birding zone and this stands to be the best birding zone in the Pearl of Africa Uganda. Here you will quench your birding thirst. Arrive in the afternoon and have some lunch and we take you to a birding trip and be ready to feed your eyes on the Green-throated Sunbird, Brown and scaly breasted illadopsis, Green-breasted Pita, Velvet-mantled Drongo and many more. After breakfast, you go for a birding trip in the Kanyanchu area and this is guided. Here you will search for birds like the majestic crowned eagle and you will see many birds’ species here. You will move with everything you need to eat for lunch while on the move. In the afternoon you will move to Bigodi swamp and you will see the Papyrus Gonolek, mosque swallow and many more. Return to the lodge for dinner and resting.

In the morning early enough after that good breakfast, we drive you to Bwindi for yet another great experience on you birds’ search. Here, as you move you will see really stunning game on the way as you reach in the afternoon at your lodge and then you go birding after lunch. Return to the lodge for dinner and resting.

After breakfast in the morning, you will go for birding in the forest and we will use the water fall trail searching for the Bwindi Forest wonders of birding like the Chin-spot Batis, Doherty’s Bush-shrike, Barred Long-tailed Cuckoo, Ashy Flycatcher, African Hill-Babbler, Rwenzori Batis, Mountain Buzzard, Cinnamon-chested Bee-eater and many more. You will move with everything you need to eat for lunch while on the move.

Today you will do birding and gorilla tracking. Now, take your breakfast early and pack something to eat on the way and let us get-go to the forest for the gorillas and a great game ranger will be briefing you at 7:30 am about your energetic gorilla tracking activity and shortly after he will take you to begin tracking the gorillas in the mighty forest through the gorilla paths in the thick Bwindi Impenetrable rain forests searching for the giant mountain Gorillas as well as looking for other great mammals like leopards, elephants and monkeys.
The gorilla search may take 2 – 9 hours in this thick forest and this may be tiresome but you will surely drop that, the moment you find these great mountain gorillas because your eyes will grow larger than their sockets. On finding these great mountain gorillas, you will be given one hour to view, take photos with the gorillas and also interact with these great primates and look for the Cabanis’s Green bull, Waller’s starling and many more. Return to the lodge for dinner and resting.

After breakfast in the morning, you will go for birding moving to Ruhiija area and search for the Cinnamon-chested Bee-eater, Common Buzzard and many more bird species. Take pictures and enjoy life in Uganda’s wild zones, for a memorable safari and great holidays.

You enjoyed the wonders in Bwindi and now we are taking you to Lake Mburo National Park, just after breakfast. You will do birding here as you enter the park in the late afternoon.

Today, after breakfast we, you will drive following the lakeside way Heading to the Kigambira loop area searching for the birds in this zone. As we make this drive, we are driving out of the park heading to Entebbe or Kampala. Arrive in the evening at your hotel for dinner and resting as you wait for the Kampala tour tomorrow.

After breakfast at your hotel, we pick you and take you to tour the capital city of Uganda – Kampala City. You have a lot to do in the city and this means you have to move very early in the morning and you will have lunch in town. Return to your hotel in the evening, pack your bags and we drive you to the Entebbe International Airport for your departure. End of safari.
