Itinerary

Day 1This is your arrval day in Tanzania

Our driver-guide picks you up at the airport and he drives you to your safari lodge or hotel, you rest and hold-up for tomorrow to start your tour with us. Thank you for choosing us.

Day 2Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater

After leisurely breakfast you travel towards Ngorongoro. Around 11:00 hrs you reach Ngorongoro Conservation Area home of the world famous Ngorongoro Crater. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations and one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in its natural habitat.
There are various options to spend the reminder of the day (at additional cost):
• Visit of a Masai Village (extra cost of 70 USD per vehicle).
• Ranger guided Nature Walk along the Crater Rim (70 USD per person).
Driving time without game viewing about 3 hours.
Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.

Day 3Drive from Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park

From Ngorongoro, you drive towards Serengeti, one of the most famous wildlife conservation areas in the world. First, you reach the Naabi Hill Kopjes (huge granite boulders) where you can go for a short walk. After lunch you continue on game drives all afternoon at the vast Serengeti National Park, one of the most famous game reserves worldwide and named after the ancient Masai word ‘Siringet’, meaning endless plains.
Driving time without game viewing is about 3 hours.
Overnight at Mapito Tented Camp at Ikoma, Serengeti.

Day 4Serengeti

Early morning game drive to see also nocturnal animals returning from hunting and lions awaking in the dawn followed by a full day of game drives around Serengeti. Depending on the time of year and the migration of the herds you can expect to see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many birds and other species.
Overnight at Mapito Tented Camp in Ikoma, Serengeti.

Day 5Serengeti-Arusha

After breakfast, you proceed to Naabi Hill Gate with game viewing en route and return to Arusha. Reach Arusha around late afternoon heading to your home flight.
Driving time without game viewing is 7-8 hours.
