Day 1. Entebbe / Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park the home of Mountain Gorillas.
Day 2. Big Day – Gorilla tracking.
Day 3. Drive from Bwindi through Ishasha to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 4 Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 5. Queen Elizabeth National Park –Kyambura George-Chimpanzee –Back to Entebbe / Kampala.
Early morning after breakfast at your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala, we pick to start driving to Bwindi your major gorilla safari destination in Uganda. Bwindi National Park is located in the southwestern part of the country and it is a home to 300 and more surviving mountain gorillas. The drive is long and you will have lunch on the way as we travel, stop at the Equator for pictures and buy some beautiful handmade crafts which so many travelers and visitors love so much to carry home. Bwindi is heavily forested with a mind blowing view everyone loves and the park also gives you a great touch of beauty of the pearl as it presents to you a big bunch of mammals like the red tailed monkeys and black & white Columbus monkeys and a lot more besides the mouth-patting mountain gorillas and if you love birds you will get a real blend of birds on this safari.
Arrive in the evening and check into your lodge for dinner and resting you are waiting for the big day tomorrow and you may stay at Bwindi lodge or at Gorilla Forest Camp.
After breakfast in the morning, you will be driven to the park offices for briefing about the gorilla trekking activity of the day and pick a great game ranger and move to the forest for the big day. The search may be long form 1 – 9 hours but on finding these giant gorillas, the longtime taken will be forgotten at the very spot and you will stay with them for one hour as you take pictures with the gorillas and interacting but remember not to use flash photography and loud voices because the gorillas are shy but very peaceful. Return to the lodge for dinner and resting.
After breakfast in the morning we begin driving through Ishasha in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, we do big game drive and here you will see the great tree-climbing lions.
While in the Ishasha sector you will be seeing the beauty in the wild and thus the wild connection in Uganda and after the game drive we go to the lodge for dinner and resting.
Rise very early for a morning game drive to catch-up with the early risers and predators – lion, leopard, coming out from their hideouts searching for their prey. You will be likely to meet the big five creatures, elephants, buffalos, hippos, spotted plus the lions, water bucks and stripped jackal, bushbucks, hyenas and leopards and many more and this morning game drive is so full of fun. Return to the lodge for lunch and after you will take an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel where you will see a variety of game commonly marine animals. This water channel joins Lake Edward and Lake George and it holds a huge bunch of buffalos, hippos and elephants at the water banks. This park is a great spot for game viewing in Uganda.
On day 5 in the morning after breakfast, we pack our bags and drive to Kyambura Gorge for a breathtaking Chimpanzee trekking and here you will also see other primates like the baboons, colobus monkeys, and many others. After the great chimpanzee tracking, we head to Kampala or Entebbe arriving in the evening at your Kampala or Entebbe hotel.
