6 Days Ngamba – Kidepo, Chimps & Wildlife

Following arrival at Entebbe airport, our company driver-guide will be waiting to pick you up and transfer you to the hotel for your resting as you wait for the exciting new day tomorrow on your tour start heading to Ngamba Island on Lake Victoria for the Chimpanzee feeding experience and while at the sanctuary, you will be directed to the visitor’s center where you will be given an introduction to the project, its history, residents and their plight.

This early morning, you starting your exciting Uganda tour experience heading to Ngamba Island_the chimpzee Island_ taking a boat trip on Lake Victoria. The Island is an amazing wild frontier offering an amazing wild touch away from the urban noise. The chimps will remind about so much about life and wildlife, beautiful rare bird species to see, great lodges and a lovely Uganda on Lake Victoria. Enjoy the day as you kiss the wild and later we get you back to the hotel.

Just after your breakfast in the morning, our driver-guide will start you on the journey to Kidepo valley National Park, this will definitely be a long journey. However, the drive will be accompanied with a lot of scenic viewing and sightseeing. You will most definitely have lunch en-route that will be coupled with a lot of stopovers to stretch your legs and relax the muscles. You will arrive at Kidepo Valley National Park in approximately 13 hours. You will arrive late in the evening and all you will do is check in your Accommodation, have your dinner and have a good night sleep.

Rise early and go for an amazing morning game drive_it is you now viewing the park’s endowed diversity of wildlife such as elephants, leopard, warthogs, ostriches, buffaloes, giraffes and lions and continue with bird watching in the Narus Valley e.t.c Some of the beautiful birds you will be seeing are the Abyssinian Roller, Purple Heron, Abyssinian Ground Hornbill and Clapperton’s which is found only in Kidepo valley. After the game drive, you will return to the camp where you will have lunch rest and later go for an evening cultural tour to interact with the Karamojong community.
Here you will get an opportunity of seeing how the locals go about their day today lives from the activities that keep them occupied all day every day to their cultural practices. You will most definitely realize why most Africans are reluctant to completely giving up on their traditional practices. You will later return to the lodge/hotel for your dinner and overnight.

Today very early in the morning, you will have your breakfast and head out for Nature walk experience coupled with a brief drive to the Kanangorok Hot Springs. You will pass some magnificent landscapes and rocky outcrops. Chances are you will get to see some ostriches as they are often seen in this part of the park. You should later return to the Lodge and have your lunch, there after rest and relax a bit as you get ready for your evening game drive. The game drive will take less than 3 hours as you will be looking out for the wildlife as they retire for the day as well. When the game drive is done, you will drive back to your accommodation, relax, have your dinner and get ready for your departure the next morning.

Depart the park very early in the morning and arrive Kampala late evening with lunch en-route and stopovers to stretch out! Drop-off will be at your hotel in Kampala / Entebbe or at the airport for your home going flight.
